Bulletin Announcements — 10/29/17


“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)   We sincerely welcome any visitors this morning to Peace Reformed Church.  May you be blessed through the worship of our most High God.  Please sign the guest registry in the back of the church.

On Tuesday, October 31st, we will be celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  We will gather in the Fellowship Hall 6 PM for a time of devotions and hymn singing.  We will also be serving chili and sandwiches.  All food and table service will be provided.  We will then be having a trunk or treat for the children of the church.  If you wish to participate, being lawn chairs and candy to pass out.  If you have any questions please see Caleb Frankart following the service.

The Children’s Choir will practice this morning following the worship service.

This morning the deacons will be collecting at the door a special offering to support the work of both City and Heidelberg Seminaries. See the posters on the bulletin board for more information.

Henry County Christmas Cheer applications are available on the Fellowship Hall table.  Application deadline is November 15th, 2017.

Henry County Christmas Cheer items will collected at the church until Sunday, November 5th, following the worship service.

Our Men’s Fellowship will meet again on Saturday, November 11th, at 8 AM.  We will continue studying the Canons of Dort.

Anyone interested in participating in the Adult Choir to sing during the Christmas Eve service, please meet in the front of the sanctuary on Sunday, November 5th, following the worship service.

Please remember to pray for: Consistory and Spiritual Council, our nation, the pro-life cause, the sanctity of marriage, The President, our RCUS mission works, Gay Grant,  Esther Bockelman, Bruce Rettig, Rhea Bockelman, Corwin Starr, Thea Bockelman, the people of Houston, TX and Florida

The Consistory will meet again on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 7:00 PM.
