Bulletin Announcements — 7/21/19

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)   We sincerely welcome any visitors this morning to Peace Reformed Church.  May you be blessed through the worship of our most High God.

We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to the families of Marc Le Roy and Haley Altman who were united in marriage yesterday afternoon!

On August 4th, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper.  Members of other churches who hold to the same faith as we concerning the Lord’s Supper ( see Heidelberg Catechism questions 75-82) and who are in good and regular standing with their own congregation and who have sought permission from an elder are all invited to partake with us.  There are request forms available on the lectern in the fellowship hall.

This Wednesday evening at 6:30, there will be a meeting here at the church for all of those who would like to help or assist with our VBS program this year.

The Women’s Fellowship will meet on Thursday, July 25th at 7:30pm at the church.  We will study “Lois” pgs 85-87 in the book “Women of the New Testament”.

Men’s Fellowship will meet again on Saturday, August 11th at 8 am.  We will be having breakfast together and then continue our study together in the Cannons of Dort.  We will be going through the 3rd and 4th Head of Doctrine, specifically the refutation of errors section.

2 Corinthians 4: 7-10, But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.  We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
