Announcements

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)   We sincerely welcome any visitors this morning to Peace Reformed Church.  May you be blessed through the worship of our most High God.

Happy Mothers Day to all of our mothers and grandmothers!  The carnations for all of the women of the church this morning were purchased from Henry County Right to Life.

Next Sunday, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper together.  Members of other churches who hold to the same faith as we do concerning the Lord’s Supper (see Heidelberg Catechism questions 75-82) and who are in good and regular standing with their own congregation and who have sought permission from either myself or an elder, are invited to partake with us.  There are request forms available on the lectern in the fellowship hall for future Lord’s Supper dates.

On May 26th, following the worship service we will be having a congregational meeting to first discuss the meeting of Synod, earlier that week and also to discuss the replacing of the carpet in the sanctuary.

The consistory and spiritual counsel will be meeting again on Tuesday evening, May 28th at 7:00pm at the church.

Womens Fellowship will meet on Thursday May 23rd at 7 pm here at the church.  We will make table favors for the Alpine Village Assisted Living Home.

Men’s Fellowship will be meeting again next on Saturday June 8th at 8 am.
