Bulletin Announcements — 07/26/15


“The is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24) We sincerely welcome any visitors this morning to Peace Reformed Church.  May you be blessed through the worship of our most High God.  Please sign the guest registry in the back of the church.

Vacation Bible School will be held for children in 4 – 8th grade, August 3rd-7th, from 9AM to 12:00 noon, at the church.  On Sunday, August 9th, our worship service will be held at 9:00AM, followed by singing from our VBS students. A sandwich and ice cream lunch will follow the singing, with everyone bringing their favorite sandwiches to share.  Ice cream and chips will be provided.  After lunch a church softball game will be held for all ages.  There will be no Sunday school on Sunday, August 9th.

Sunday, August 9th, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper.  Members of other congregations who agree with our view regarding the Supper (H.C. Q&A 75-82), and who, prior to that time have sought permission from Pastor Altman and the Elders, are invited to partake with us.

Any women of the church who would like to serve for the ice cream social on Sunday, August 9th, please see Lori Drewes.

The Men’s Fellowship will meet again on Saturday, August 15, at 8:00 AM.  We will be looking together into Article 14 of the Belgic Confession.

The Consistory will meet  again on Tuesday, August 18th, at 7:30 PM.

Next week’s Adult Sunday School lesson will be Heidelberg Catechism Question 105, Sixth Commandment: Sanctity to Life,  in the Norman L. Jones Study Guide.
